Our favorite Australian turn New Yorker, Sia, has hooked up with Cansei De Ser Sexy (CSS) to remix her track, “Buttons.”, from her stellar album, ‘Some People Have Real Problems.’ CSS add their Brazilian funk, laced with their steady samples and guitar riffs, to this already catchy track.

Little Dragon Live In New York City Tonight!!!

As you should all know by now, my fanciness for Little Dragon runs deep.  How deep? well try three years deep! since the days when Yukimi (lead vocals) was putting it down with the Koop & creating soothing sounds with the Hird.  There debut album which is by far one of the best listens over the past decade (purchase and find out) leads us to three facts about the greatest thing to come out of Sweden since ABBA {jokes}.

The Cool Kids | 2K Pennies (NBA 2K9 Song)

It seems that if you want to have someone on your video game soundtrack, The Cool Kids are the go to band. They’ve been featured in the video game NBA Live 08 as well as MLB 2K8 with the song “88.” Well they are at it again in Sega Sports, NBA 2K9, with their catchy lead single, “2K Pennies.” Even if you don’t own 2K9 you might have saw the clip of Kevin Garnett dancing to 2K’s lead single. Either way, if this is the type of music they are putting out as singles, we can only imagine what their album is going to sound like.

Introducing Ohbijou- “The Woods” (Official Video)

Things have been a little down here at the cafe so we thought we’d introduce one of our bands under the radar, Toronto’s own Ohbijou. Unlike Arcade Fire, Ohbijous music can brighten the darkest days & make you feel alive again. Here is a vid for there single “The Woods” a vintage banjo driven piece of vocal bliss provided by Casey Mecija, that warms the heart. There debut “Swift Feet For Troubling Times” (a must listen) is in stores now.

Joshua Radin – I’D Rather Be With You (Video)

Joshua Radin has just released his long awaited video for the feel good tune “I’d Rather Be With You” which to our surprise, was directed by Zach Braff. Radin seems to have the right people in his corner, after Ellen Degeneres personally flew him down to perform at her wedding, things have been going full speed for the Ohio native. After watching the cafe worthy vid, check out his latest release Simple Times which is in stores now.

Hip Hops best keep secret Black Milk may not be anymore after releasing his follow up album “Tronic” which has been in rotation all wknd here at the cafe.  If you’re not familiar with the Detroit native, then we suggest you do your research on this artist who will surely be making major noise in the new year.  Here is “Give The Drummer Sum” a bonafied two thumbs up head nodding adventure that leaves you wanting more.
