El Perro Del Mar may be visibly a non factor in this video for “Change Of Heart,” but these two gents sure do make up for her absence. In one of the more intriguing pieces we’ve seen all year check the synchronized visuals up above.

Grammy nominated, KiD CuDi made an appearance on Conan O’Brien last night, and performed Pursuit Of Happiness. It’s been a rough few weeks for Cudi, from being kicked off the Lady Gaga‘s Monster Ball Tour and most recently being detained by the LAPD, seems like this kid can’t catch a break.

Magistrates 500x374 Magistrates Have Come To An End!

On a more somber note, Fresh Faces ’10 potential Magistrates have decided to call it quits.  We had high hopes for this band in the new year and the split has left us somewhat confused.  Here’s what they had to say about the departure.

“Magistrates is over, thanks for everything, we will all be working on other musical projects, we’ll let you know.”

Check out an earlier interview we had with them here.

The Incomparable Shakespeare | The British Invasion

BritishInvasion v03 500x500 The Incomparable Shakespeare | The British Invasion

Some how this got swallowed in my inbox.  But better late then never.  Check out The Incomparable Shakespeare EP, The British Invasion.  This EP is filled with great content and shouldn’t be overlooked.

The British Invasion is a hybrid experiment that fuses the musical aesthetics of American and UK pop. Produced exclusively by Silver, the project’s goal was to maintain the integrity of the source material while creating a rich new sound not typically found in Hip-Hop. The references are incredibly diverse and range from The Beatles to Bloc Party to Soul II Soul. I put a lot of love into every record to ensure that each has a different sound and a different approach, but more importantly, a different feel. This EP should not to be confused with the disposable mixtapes which clutter the web. This is music!

All I ask is that you listen with open ears. Welcome to the “Invasion,” presented by OnSMASH and DJBooth.

One EskimO | MTV Interview [Video]

// December 22nd, 2009 // No Comments » // Video

One EskimO sat down with MTV and told us five things we might not know about them.  Pretty interesting, because a few months ago [here] we didn’t know how any of the band members looked.  We actually thought they were going to go the way of The Gorillaz and use animation for their videos.

One EskimO’s self titled album drops today (December 22nd).  Check their interview above and the video for their single Kandi [sans animation] below.
