Amanda MeanRed Productions Presents| Amanda Blank w Guests

If you missed the last MeanRed party which involved an amazing ?uestlove set then here’s your chance to redeem yourself.

Having worked with uber-produers Diplo, Switch and XXXChange, Amanda Blank a fiery vixen on the mike who’s known for being naughty, direct and in your face. She takes influences as diverse as 90’s R&B, 80’s dance, indie, new wave and brit pop and mixes them into her own type of musical double-dutch. Her dynamic performance on Friday is NOT to be missed.

On the 1’s and 2’s is Anton Glamb — Bushwick party legend and ringleader of Radical Outings.

Hang tight, things are about to get serious.

She & Him| In The Sun [New Single]

She++Him+ She & Him| In The Sun [New Single]

She & Him are back with there first single “In The Sun,” which is another catchy “feel good” pop melody from Mr. Ward and Mrs. Gibbard Deschanel. As much as I loathed Zooey in 500 Days Of Summer (personal reasons) it’s hard to not fancy her as an artist. “Volume 2” will see daylight in March on March 23rd.

John Mayer | Gravity [Live in LA]

This track is neither old or new, just a mood we are feeling at the cafe today. Gravity is easily one of the better songs in John Mayer’s catalog. This is from the live album and concert film “Where The Light Is.”

Surfer Blood | Swim [New Video]

We unveiled the track [here], their live performance on KEXP [here] and even named them as one of our bands to watch in 2010 [here]. Now it’s time to show off Surfer Blood’s video for Swim.

Joy Orbison| The Shrew Would Have Cushioned The Blow

Joy+Orbison 334x500 Joy Orbison| The Shrew Would Have Cushioned The Blow

Joy Orbison has just made my shows to do in 2010 list.  Although we’ve been following the South Londoner for quite sometime, his mixes continue to impress us.  To put it short, he’s pretty much a big deal.  Whether across the pond or here in the states dance floors will be guaranteed to have “Joy Orbison Fever,” because the guy’s just that good!  Here’s “The Shrew Would Have Cushioned The Blow” from the upcoming self titled Ep.
