Even though I recorded video from last night’s show at SOB’s, why would I put it up when Vibe has put footage from a better angle. I will say this, New York has to be the toughest city to get crowd support in, so so sad. Anyway, check out a bit of yesterdays show above and after the jump.

She & Him are a few weeks away from there 2nd Lp hitting stores, to hold us over the duo have released visuals to there fun single “In The Sun.” While we could give you over 10 reasons on why we adore Zooey (Non 500 Days Of Summer) so much, we’ll leave that up to you after you watch the vid. “Volume 2” will see daylight on March 23rd.
Visuals for Lupe Fiasco, Mike Shinoda and Kenna’s track Resurrection has surfaced. Great cause and great video. This weekend while your home doing nothing, check out their documentary on MTV this Sunday (March 14). Also head over to their Music For Relief site for more info on where and how to donate.
The jury is still out on Brooklyn/Florida natives The Drums. Granted that they’ve managed to place number 5 on this year BBC sound list and while there live performances could use an extreme upgrade, popping out quirky singles such as the one above “Best Friend,” seems to be a norm. This is far from groundbreaking music and sometimes you just have to take it for what it’s worth. Either you love them or hate em, they’ll continue to be all over 2010 whether we disagree or not. There yet untitled debut Lp via Moshi Moshi will hit stores on March 28th.
We gave you the teaser last week [here] and now the full version has surfaced. J*Davey has released the visuals for “Get Together,” our favorite track from there Boudir Synema Ep. Not sure what’s behind that door but lets hope that light leads us to a major label debut album this year, via Warner Bros. Download the free Ep below.
We introduced you to Sonnymoon earlier this week and besides the tons of emails and downloads regarding there fascinating “Houstalantavegas” cover, the New England duo is simply one the best things going for 2010. Here’s a visual to the track which is also on there “Golden Age” album.
Boston funksters The Bodega Girls make an appearance………..well not visually because there video for “Primetime Sexcrime” is a bunch of old 70’s television clips mixed together. We appreciate the effort and the vintage inspired track itself is just as good.
It’s been a while since we spoke about Gin Wigamore [here] on this site. Quite frankly, we overlooked her. Wigamore released a CD in New Zealand late last year, and had a drop a few singles in 2009. But thanks to the good people over at thecouchsessions, she is back on our radar. Her latest track, I Do, has a Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson feel to it. But please don’t put her in that category, her raw voice and versatility is her shining point.
Here are the visuals for Citizen Cope’s latest single, I Couldn’t Explain Why. If you been following Cope like we have you know this is his first album in the past four years. The Rainwater LP is actually Cope’s first album under his label.
