Alela Diane (pictured right) one of our fresh faces of 09 may not have had the impact we were expecting that is unless you live in France (she’s huge there) but has still managed to gain critical acclaim from her previous two albums.  Without question Alela continues to be a bright spot in the folk genre and has recently teamed up with Alina Harden to put out a six track self titled debut.  We’re not sure about the relationship of the two but there voices blend beautifully together over the melancholy tune “Bowling Green.”  Album is available now only on digital download.
