If I had to pick a dream band (front vocalist, back-up vocalist, guitarist, drummer, bassist..etc) Chris Cornell would be on my short list of front vocals (Jimmy Gnecco is there also). With that being said…. WTF is this? Maybe I got my hopes to high when Timbaland and Chris spoke about this being the best work he has done. Or maybe this sounds like a run down version of Apologize 2. Chris Cornell’s previous track, Long Gone, didn’t get the greatest reviews from fans and critics. But I thought Timbaland and him were on to something. Maybe it’s to early to judge, but as of right now I feel this is decent at best. Remember people this is coming from a fan of the man.
Maybe I’m wrong, so give it a listen for yourself. Also, visually, I think this video looks great.
