While everyone is doing backflips and jumps for joy for Death Cab’s EP, Open The Door, I’m resting my ankles. I’m not a huge fan of work that gets left off of a CD. If this EP was for an upcoming album, it would be a different story. My ankles would need icing. According to what Nick Harmer told MTV, ‘When we finished Narrow Stairs, there were four extra songs that, because we were trying to put together an album, we ended up not including them — it’s not like they’re castoffs or anything; they’re part of the Narrow Stairs experience...’ Right….
Open The Door is due March 31 in digital format and then April 7th in stores on a format known as CDs…hmmm
