If you’ve followed us over the past year than you’d know that we’ve become the go to site for your next break out artist, and any labels, sites or A&R’s would be doing themselves justice by bookmarking us. One of our tips who is basically everywhere now, Diane Birch did a interview with us last year and noted that she really admired The Phenomenal Handclap Band and even listed them as one of her most listened to groups. Fast forward to present day and the two have hooked up for a seven track effort full of covers that range from groups such as The Cure, Joy Divison and Siouxse & the Banshees, among others. You can get a listen to the first single which is also a Sisters of Mercy cover titled “This Corrosion.” Album “The Velveteen Age” will be available on December 7th.
