Halloween, Alaska | Gone With The Wind

Halloween, Alaska

On this start of the work week, we wanted to open the cafe with some thing mellow and lax.  Minnesota based band, Halloween, Alaska is just the right mix we need.  Consisting of James Diers (voice, keys, guitar), Matthew Friesen (bass, sampler), Jacob Hanson (guitar) and David King (drums). Halloween, Alaska formed way back in 2002.  They have received moderate success early into their careers, due to having two songs featured on the O.C., but that’s where their buzz stops.  The reason they haven’t been fully embraced by the public is because Death Cab Cutie and them have a similar sound.  Well we’re here to tell you, Halloween, Alaska is severely underrated and have released a solid third LP entitled, Champagne Downtown (which is out now).
