Hockey has been in our catalog for quite sometime (early 2008) and we wanted to keep them as our little secret, apparently and according to other recent sites, that just won’t happen. Primed and destined to be the breakout act of 2009, these four Oregonians have the blogosphere buzzing. We’re not sold on the hype yet and far from being into what everyone else is (thus the reason for this site) but it looks very promising for Capitol records latest signees. Here’s a vintage tune “Too Fake” which could’ve very well been a hit at CBGB’s in the early 80′s. Addictive, effective and extremely gritty. SXSW just got a little better.
