At our monthly meeting earlier today, Hollywood Q posed an interesting question, what do people see in Kid Cudi? I think Cudi is a talented dude, who is definitely creating his own genre or twist on ‘Hip-Hop.’ But I found myself agreeing with Q. Seeing Cudi during The Roots Festival and listening to a few of his mix tapes, he sounded like someone who was a little all over the place. But after hearing (roughly) four tracks off his latest CD and watching his Hip Hop Chronicle Interview (below), I’m excited for his album. Plus hearing him state he looks forward to working with Kenna, Chad Hugo, Robin Thicke, MGMT, The Thrills, and Band of Horses on his next project, you know Cudi is someone who listens and knows good music. Check out a track off his album, entitled, Soundtrack 2 My Life.
