Drake is an upcoming rapper from Toronto, Cananda, that you should keep an eye on. Over the past two years, he has released a few mixtapes ( Room for Improvement and Comeback Session), has a new one on the way, entitled, ‘So Far Gone’ and even had a video, ‘Replacement Girl’ premiere on 106th and Park. To say he’s been on his grind is an understatement. During that time he has collaborated with such establish artists as Trey Songz, Robin Thicke, Lil’ Wayne, Dwele, Lupe Fiasco, Travis from Gym Class Heroes, and Mickey Factz (not quite established but keep an eye out for Mr. Factz). Yet he is still unknown to the public. Well, that’s about to change. Being signed to Lil’ Wayne’s, Young Money label will help his cause. Check out his latest track, ‘Ransom’, which features Lil’ Wayne. People around the Cafe think Drake had the best verse, but you guys can be the judge.
