Life’s trials and tribulations can sometimes come to a halt, and in a flash it could all be taken away. Just ask Melody Gardot who At the age of 19, was hit by a car while riding a bicycle. The injuries sustained now force Gardot to wear dark glasses and carry a cane. Her rise in the Music world happened when a physician suggested to her that Music may help her regain some of her former cognitive abilities, and with that her first musical venture was in 2005, an EP titled, “Some Lessons” recorded from her bedside.
With a voice as smooth as Vino Rosso (Red Wine in Italian for the non-language takers) one listen to “Worrisome Heart” and you’ll understand why this rare gem is ready to warm all of our hearts.
