Muhsinah first grabbed our attention when she self-produced her glorious debut effort “The Oscillations:Sine” which is still in rotation at the cafe. There’s something golden about the D.C. natives voice that continues to gives us smiles all over! very early to call her a phenom, but we’re pretty damn close to it. A resume that includes work on both Common &The Foreign Exchanges albums, Muhsinah, born (Muhsinah Abdul-Karim) continues to ante up the hits. If “That Day” a heavenly feel good tune guaranteed to brighten the mood is any indication of what’s to come, then “The Oscillations:Triangle” (part II of a double disc) scheduled for a March release, will be highly anticipated and an early contender for album of the year honors.
