Mutlu Onral is a Soul/Reggae artist born and raised in Philadelphia, his background consist of him being of Turkish descent and grew up listening to the sounds of Hip Hop and R&B in “Quaker City”. Mutlu has been around the scene since 2003 when he released a self titled indie EP, after playing a few gigs in the area, Amos Lee got a hold of his music and decided to take him on tour.
Fast forward a few years later a full length album “Livin It” a group of friends that include Jill Scott, The Roots, Carly Simon, & Darryl Hall. The Lad with the “Philly Cream Cheese” voice (ok that came out of nowhere) has managed to be one of the new sounds coming out of the “The City That Loves You Back”. Here is the first single Livin It a track that exudes the feeling of happiness and could get any day started on a high note.
