Frou Frou were an English electronic music duo composed of Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth. Even though they collaborated for years without having a record deal, their debut album, Details (2002), would be their only album. They both write, produce and play instruments on the tracks, but Heap provides the vocals.
Heap and Sigsworth first started working together on Getting Scared from Heap’s 1998 solo album, ‘I Megaphone.’ After Heap completed her debut project, she and Sigsworth hooked up again to make “Flicks”. Their musical relationship continued and formulated into the two releasing an album together.
Frou Frou will be remembered as a electronic duo, but they put their own spin on that sound. ‘Details’ has an earthy and Björky kind of sound. Check out one of our favorite tracks from that album, “Hear Me Out.”
