Surfer Blood is a group of guys who met randomly at a college party in Florida and decided to make music. Now had I heard this story before checking them out at cakeshop during the CMJ, then there’s a high chance you may not be reading this post. These Floridians were one of the very few surprises during this weekend’s events. Although they pack a sound similar to Weezer, kids making fun music such as “Floating Vibes” is sometimes not a bad thing at all. Astro Coast is in stores January 19, 2010.
