Australian band, The Temper Trap have been flying under my radar this whole year. It wasn’t until this weekend that their music finally grabbed me and told me to listen. Earlier this year, I remember seeing them on BBC’s 2009 Most Likely To Breakout Acts (they made honorable mention). Their name popped up again during the summer, when they made the ‘500 Days of Summer‘ track list. Recently, during the past few weekends, I kept hearing a catchy song on a few sporting adverts. It wasn’t up until Saturday, that I popped in the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack and fell in love with this song.
According to the reports I’m getting from this past weekend’s Reading Festival, this band is insane live. There is nothing but big things in their future. I’m going to tell you the exact words I told my bro, “Turn your f*cking speakers up and check this track out.” Check out the video after the jump
