Toro Y Moi has upgraded his chillwave sound with a full backing band. Well sort of………… his upcoming album “Underneath the Pine” will have no samples, but only live instrumentation. So to sum this up, Toro is creating all new sounds for his sophomoric Lp. “Still Sound” is the first single and had this been released in the early 90′s, it may still be one of the best tracks today, which means in longevity terms, Toro has a certified hit on his hands.
