Southern U2 Kings of Leon will play Madison Square Garden on Janurary 29th 2009. This is a pretty big deal for the band and also has raised a few questions. How does a group who are more popular in Europe than America get a gig at one of the biggest stages in the world? Will K.O.L get the same treatment as Justice? I honestly think that if Weezer can play a show there why not let Caleb, Nathan, Jared & Matthew grace the same stage? maybe we’re just biased fans of the “Classic Rock Band” time warped to Modern times or maybe we’re just salivating over there recent release Only By The Night which is tops in our solid albums of the year category, however these are just our opinions.

    Tough call on this one! a decent band with maybe too much hype and I doubt if they sell out the venue.

    I don’t know about the Garden!!! Decent band not quite ready for a big venue like that!
