So, you thought that we’d be just giving you only the best new artists and music over the nets? Such is not the case. On Friday July 16th, Our lovely peeps over at The Couch Sessions are having there 5th year anniversary showcase and we’ll be coordinating the event. More on this is after the jump.
Southpaw will be the lucky recipients as host venue with headlining act Aloe Blacc. Aloe is without question one of the biggest artists of 2010, already known as having the hit anthem “I Need A Dollar” from the fresh new HBO series “How To Make It In America,” and when his anticipated album hits “Good Things,” well….. you catch our drift. In addition to Aloe, Peter Hadar will grace the stage with his combination of Electronic Soul, Hadar will be bringing his smooth vocals along for what is destined to be one of the biggest events SUMMER IN NYC has seen!
Thought we were done? We’ve also got our crew over at Academy Print Wear as host sponsors, who’ll be running a VIP party bus through Manhattan picking up friends, artists, and clients along the way. There will also be a few lucky winners to attend an exclusive after party event with Mick Boogie, who in case you’re wondering is a pretty big deal.
