Selah Sue should be a solid fixture in the industry right now, it amazes us on why we seem to be the only one’s in the world states knowing about the Belgium girl wonder.  Here she is teaming up with Moby attempting to play bongos for “Raggamuffin” off of the stellar debut “Black Part Love.”

Daniel Merriweather has had his fair share of love around here at the cafe. He placed in our favorite songs, artists & albums lists in ‘09. An album “Love & War” that just hit the states yesterday, it’s also an Lp that’s definitely worth the purchase. Were just hoping he gets the appreciation so well deserving, in the U.S. here’s an acoustic version of one of our favorites off the 13 track effort, “Red.”

Laura Marling has released artwork for the highly anticipated “I Speak Because I Can” which is her follow up to the fascinating debut “Alas I Cannot Swim.” Album will see the light of day on March 23rd.

Apparently if we were to look on a bill and see this line up at any event, a few question marks may arise. Two different genres and two completely different sounds. Mumford and Sons & White Lies are both massive in there own right so when this cover hit our inbox we were quite amused. The lads from London but a great banjo twist on “Unfinished Business” which you can listen to below. “Sigh No More” is in stores now.

First Aid Kit release there new visual for “I Met Up With A King.” These sisters continue to amaze us and if you have not already picked up one of 2010’s best pieces of work “The Big Black and Blue,” we suggest you should. Album is in stores now.

Alela Diane stopped by Black Cab Sessions for a riveting performance of “Lady Divine” which is from her latest “To Be Still” album.  We can’t get enough of the Portland native and we’re still scratching our heads as to how some of her best work to date, the very slept on “Headless Heroes” Lp went unnoticed. Fanfarlo is set to embark on another journey across the states, this time it will be there live national television debut on February 15th.  Who’s the lucky recipient? David Letterman of course! Jealous Girlfriends frontwoman Holly Miranda is on the brink of releasing her anticipated upcoming debut “The Magician’s Private Library.” Whether she’s covering Lauryn Hill or Jeff Buckley, The Brooklyn native has come up with some pretty impressive performances, this is just another one to add on the list.
