Tamaryn is a west coast outfit who give off what we call scenic sounds, the kind’ve music that could take you to places you’d only dream of, very experimental sounds coming from this duo. Listening to “Mild Confusion” sort of makes us feel as if we’re on a spiritual trip. Tamaryn will release her debut LP “The Waves” on September 14th, 2010.

Warpaint is having a fabulous ’10 so far, and with there upcoming full length, it looks like this will be a breakout year for our favorite outfit from the West Coast. The ladies recently did a brilliant cover of David Bowie’s “Ashes To Ashes.”

Which will be on a Bowie tribute album “We Were So Turned On” in conjunction with War Child. It was released as a digital single and all profits generated from the single will go to War Child.

One of the greatest voices our generation Ray Lamontagne has resurfaced with his backing band, The Pariah Dogs. Now we know Ray is all sorts of famous or on the verge of at least, but this beautiful track “New York City Is Killing Me” from his new album “God Willin’ & The Creek Don’t Rise” simply couldn’t go without posting. An incredible song and quite fitting for the day we’re having at the moment.

Cee-Lo| Fuck You [Audio]

When we look back at the year of 2010 there will be two songs that have hands down been the most played tunes here at the cafe, Cee-Lo’s latest single ‘Fuck You’ will be one of them. Yes we know this song has been all over the internets since it’s release last week but we’re just getting around to posting it. Can’t blame Mr. Green for creating such a brilliant track, although his timing was off, had this been last year there’s a certain someone who may have gotten the Say Anything treatment boom box style at high volume. Post break-up tune of the decade if you ask us. Ladykiller will see daylight soon.
