In case you’re wondering why we’ve been so delayed in speaking about Sleigh Bells, well for starters…… we’re not just hearing about the duo, in fact we’ve been in the know for quite sometime. Second, with all the madness that’s going on here at the cafe, a late intro every now and then is bound to happen.  Quick synopsis, Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss met at a restaurant in Brooklyn, exchanged info and decided to form a group.  Now that you’ve been informed, have a listen to “Tell ‘Em” which is there first single from there upcoming anticipated release.  Rejoice Williamsburg hipsters, you’ve found yourself a new anthem. Penguin Prison is a singer songwriter from Brooklyn New York who’s currently on radar watch here at the cafe. We’ve featured some of his work with some remixes by other artists you may be familiar with…… Ellie Goulding, Theophilus London sounds familiar? If Pop music in the indie world ever needed a shake up then “Something I’m Not,” could very well be the culprit. Let’s just hope he sticks to this formula with the upcoming full length and not “Animal Animal” cause quite honestly, that was just corny!
