The Cold War Kids have released a video for their single, Audience. It’s off their stellar EP, Behave Yourself, which hit stores (and online retailers) yesterday.

My favorite track off of Cold War Kids EP, Behave Yourself is Audience. I find myself playing it at least once a day at the Cafe, and thanks to their recent performance on KCRW, I might have to up it to at least twice a day. Enjoy this excellent live performance of Audience.

Yesterday Cold War Kids EP, Behave Yourself was released digitally [via iTunes].  If you want a physical copy your going to have to wait until January 19th.  Through it’s only a four track EP, the consensus around the cafe is that it’s pretty amazing.  Check out their lead single, Audience, below.

Cold War Kids have a new EP arriving January 19th entitled, Behave Yourself.  To promote their latest work, CWK will be doing a quick promo tour across the US.  Dates are below.

Easily my favorite track from 2006, Robbers and Cowards.  The Cold War Kids stop by Carson Daly’s late night show this past Friday and performed, Hospital Beds.  I guess this is Cold War Kids favorite track also.  My question is…have they given up on their second album, Loyalty to Loyalty?

Local Natives are a harmonic Folk/Pop quintet out of Silverlake California who we recently discovered a few weeks back. While there’s still limited information about the group, there quickly becoming a staple througout the blogosphere. Here’s “Sun Hands” from the upcoming debut album, CMJ festival just got a little more interesting.

The Cold War Kids performed on Jimmy Fallon this past Friday after performing on Carson Daly the night before (click here).  Needless to say, there are really pushing their second album down our throats.  But it’s for a good reason.  Loyal to Loyalty is a great sophmore album.  Instead of changing their sound and trying to top Robbers & Cowards, they made a part two.   Relief is one of the best tracks off of their highly overlooked second album.

Cold War Kids have released there video for the single “I’ve Seen Enough.” Which very well could be the theme song for 2009. With a heavy percentage of America facing hard times, playing this tune everyday just might get you through the day.
