Wow, has it been two years since we spoke of Anjulie [here]. Well, the Canadian songstress is back with a new video, entitled Addicted2me.
Her self titled debut album is in stores now.
Everyone who works at the Cafe and a lot of people I know donated to the Summit on the Summit project. Being able to see the journey that these guys went through will have us tuning into MTV on March 14th and so should you. If you don’t know the story, Kenna and company climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness for water born illness and diseases.
Resistance is one of the few songs on Muse’s latest album, The Resistance, that we can say sounds like typical Muse. If you could sum up their sound to one song, this would be it. As you can see from the video, they put on an incredible live show.

After spreading the word for a few months and starting their week long journey on January 7th, Kenna and Co. have reach the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Congrats from the Cafe, and much love to everyone who support this goal. Good Luck on the way down guys!
This weekend, MTV posted videos of Vampire Weekend’s Unplugged Session [here]. Vampire Weekend performed a few cuts from their debut album [M79 above], as well as some tracks from their sophomore release, Contra. After a week of listening to Contra, I have to say it is a strong second effort by VW. We don’t review albums over here, but a review that hit it spot on was spotted at thecouchsessions.com [here]
Contra hits stores January 12 via XL Recordings.
One EskimO sat down with MTV and told us five things we might not know about them. Pretty interesting, because a few months ago [here] we didn’t know how any of the band members looked. We actually thought they were going to go the way of The Gorillaz and use animation for their videos.
One EskimO’s self titled album drops today (December 22nd). Check their interview above and the video for their single Kandi [sans animation] below.
Theophilus London sits down with MTV and chats about 5 things we don’t know (or might know) about him. From hats, pins, shapes and The Smiths, Theophilus London is kinda out there. Which is why we love his music so much. Definitely someone to keep an eye on for 2010.

MTV is bringing back probably one of my favorite shows on their network, no not NEXT (can’t believe I just admitted that), but their Unplugged series. What better way to kick it off then with one of the finest voices in the music business, BRIT graduate, Adele Adkins. Head over to MTV.com and watch Adele perform, Cold Shoulder (video after the jump), Chasing Pavements, Right As Rain, and many more. We can’t stress how amazing her voice is live.
Fresh off their MTV performance (which I didn’t catch), Kings Of Leon have released the third single, Notion, from the album, Only By The Night. By the timing of their MTV performance and the looks of this video, they are trying to get the their America behind them. Can you blame them?
This is probably the coolest thing we’ve seen in a while. Cold War Kids debuted their Interactive Video on MTVMusic.com and we couldn’t be happier. Read the press release after the jump or just head straight to MTVMusic and create your own blend of I’ve Seen Enough.
Side Note – I just wasted 30 minutes creating my own mix…this is addicting
