It’s been a while since we spoke about Gin Wigamore [here] on this site. Quite frankly, we overlooked her. Wigamore released a CD in New Zealand late last year, and had a drop a few singles in 2009. But thanks to the good people over at thecouchsessions, she is back on our radar. Her latest track, I Do, has a Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson feel to it. But please don’t put her in that category, her raw voice and versatility is her shining point.
The last few times we’ve heard from jj, it’s been hip-hop covers, well not this time. Let Go is a melodic and beautiful tune. The visuals are done in black and white, and it gives the video a pure and stripped feel. We likes!!!

Seems like it’s video day around the Cafe today. The xx latest video off their self titled album is VCR. Great song, but the video…not so much. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I have no clue why they are smashing the room to pieces. Enjoy!
