Kimbra- “Settle Down” – Seems like since we posted this video, EVERYONE started to take notice. Coincidence? or great timing on our part? Not sure but this is a voice that’s guaranteed to be heard more of over the next twelve months. Star quality for sure!

Phenonmonal Handclap Band- “Baby” – Quite possibly the sexiest group of people to ever grace a stage and this image did nothing to disregard.

Laura Marling- “Rambling Man” – Simplicity at its very best, Marling continues to show why she’ll be one the great songwriters of our time with this visual.

Donnis- “Tonight” – One of two artists in this genre who we set earlier this year for far heights, Donnis is apparently still flying high with this brilliant visual set in Tokyo.

Tame Impala- “Lucidity” – 3 G’s Great concept, Great song and an even Greater band. Took Weather balloons to a whole other level.

Mos Def Ft. Talib Kweli- “History” – Another year and Mr. Mos has made my list, plus I’m a sucker for Black & White imagery, adding Talib to the mix was a bonus.

Washed Out- “Hold Out” – Brilliantly shot footage of Ernest Greene on a Spring tour, loved every three minutes and thirty seconds of it.

Sade- “Babyfather” – Rarely do we get a visual that send extraordinary messages, Ms. Adu came this year and changed all that. A fantastic piece of work and an even better anthem for positive Male figures of today.

Janelle Monae- “Cold War” – Simple, up close & personal image of not only a beautifully shot video but also an extremely talented artist. That moment when she tears up always gives me chills.

Warpaint- “Undertow” – For those who personally know me, know my fascination for Shannyn Sossamon. What did she have to do with this post? Well for many out of the loop, Sossamon used to be a part of Warpaint only to leave but return to direct this brilliant piece of work.
