Jack Penate continues his attempt at erasing away the original sound that once made him a darling across the pond. Gone is the mixture of a manufactured artist with no sense of direction and out steps a more confident/polished lad who just may have the biggest resurgence in recent years. Better production has forced “Be The One,” Penates lovely new piece, to reckon and match the addictiveness that “Tonights Today” provided. Horns accompanied by a very catchy chorus equals one of the better written pop songs to date.
