While we had planned on putting up some incredible footage and photo’s from last night’s Mercury Lounge starlet Lissie, as she rocked the house for her first time in New York City. Lost equipment and an extensive unsuccessful search prevented otherwise. This now California native will be making some major noise in the coming months and being on tour with Ray Lamontagne should only add on to her current rising fan base. Here’s a performance of her at songpull singing “Look Away.” The inspiration for the song, she says, was contemplating her life and the relationships she has been involved in.
