Marina and the Diamonds returns with her latest single and video “Hollywood Infected Your Brain” which was directed by King Buzza of Katie Perry fame. Apparently after a brief stint in the states that included spending time in L.A and New York, the Welsh diva came up with the concept for one of the more original tunes to date. She endures her love for the states with clever lines such as “I’m obsessed with the mess that’s America” and our favorite “Oh my god, you look just like Shakira/ No no, you’re Catherine Zeta / Actually, my name’s Marina.” We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Marina will be a force in 2010.  This has mass appeal written all over it.  “Family Jewels” will be in stores on February 15th.
