Hailing from suburban Chicago, Martin Parks is made up of Roman Lee and Jacque Hammond. They take their name from Civil Rights guiding lights Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks, and their music tries to live up to these lofty standard-bearers. If you name your group after two heroes such as that, you obviously have some seriously lofty goals. These guys have a blissfully old school sound.
