After one week of listening to Melanie Fiona‘s album, The Bridge, I have to agree with what Colin Munroe said about music in general [here]. We are becoming a play list generation. The Bridge is an album, that takes influences from classic R&B, the Motown era, calypso, pop and jazz. Which is something Fiona confirmed with her Subway Series 1, 2, 3. One thing is for sure, she is definitely a rising star that has a bright and successful future ahead of her. The scary thing is this album was done last year, Fiona is growing as an artist judging by her BET Rising Stars performance (after the jump)
