Can I be considered a Mr. Hudson Stan? Maybe. But can you blame me? A Tales of Two Cities is one of my favorite albums of all time. I had high hopes (maybe to high) for the now leaked Straight No Chaser. From the few listens I heard, it’s still a solid album filled with massive sound, but it doesn’t have the album structure nor raw and naked feel that A Tales Of Two Cities has. Each song on Straight No Chaser has an individual feel and doesn’t tie into a overall theme. Hmmmm….I guess my standards are to high.
The above video, Central Park is one of my favorite cuts off of Mr. Hudson latest album. It reminds me of something that could have been on his debut.
Straight No Chaser hits the US Shores this December.
