Vampire Weekend cleaned house early last year. At the beginning of 2008 they were every one’s favorite band, but right around the time the leaves were changing colors, out of no where hate crept in. Now this maybe me, but their music is geared for the summer time. I can just see there new single, White Sky, blasting from Central Park’s Summer Stage or a college campus with students chilling around playing hacky sack. Hate or no hate, at the end of the day they still make feel good music that I love. Or maybe it’s just me?
Side Note – I was praying The Roots would back them up last night…maybe next time.
