As everyone most surely noticed with a look of shock and terror on their face, the Maroon Cafe was down last week, thus preventing us from posting the second 1″ long video of Mayra & Mr Mow‘s acoustic tale and debut LP Songs for Orpheus. We’re catching up with the weekly airing of their visuals with these third mind-blowing visuals featuring the track “Chimères“. Our sensual songstresses dilly dallies around a fairy-tale candy shop for most of the video in a sweet haze of piano notes before the dream suddenly dissipates. As the gruesome portrait of a delirious couple sitting in a mess of raw meat unfolds before stunned eyes, we start to grasp the duo’s knack for surprises and throwing unexpected acoustic challenges.
